Trying Harder Just Wont Work...
We all want the comfort and security of being truly loved. But we also know the pain of being rejected. This is what makes the gospel remarkable. God knows us perfectly, and still He loves us. God's love for you is not based on your performance, it's based on His grace. Listen to what God's love led Him to do for you...
FIVE TRUTHS
About Your Spiritual Life
1
Truth Number One
God Knows Who You Are and Loves You
Did you know that God loves you? Regardless of your race, age, background, past failures or any other aspect of your life, He deeply cares about you, and is aware of all that is going on in your life. God wants more than anything else to have a genuine, personal relationship with you that can last forever. John 3:16" For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son..."

Truth Number Two
Sin Has Separated You From God
You have a problem; in fact, we all have it. We have broken God’s commands. The Bible calls this sin. In Romans 3:23 it specifically says “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Have you ever lied, stolen, or thought a wrong thought? Each of these actions break a command of God. Looking honestly into our own hearts reveals the truth – we have all committed sin. And sin has devastating consequences —eternal separation from God in a real place called Hell. Isaiah 59:2 "But your iniquities (sins) have separated between you and your God. "Revelation 20:15 - "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."

Truth Number Three
Good Works Can Not Earn You A Home In Heaven With God
No amount of morality or good deeds can bridge the gap to God. Man’s shortcomings is not a behavior problem (external), it is a sin problem (internal). Most people think that if they do enough good things in their life, it will eventually earn them a home in heaven with God. This idea is not found in the Bible and is not true. Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

Truth Number Four
Jesus Christ Is The ONLY Way to Know God
Jesus Himself says in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except by me.” He is not a way, as in one of many; He is the way, as in the one and only. Jesus was born sinless to a virgin, and lived a sinless life. He kept the commands of God that we could not keep. He was fully God and fully man so that He could bridge the gap between man and God. He ultimately bridged the gap on the cross when he died for your sin and my sin. He paid our sin debt in FULL when He bore our sin on the cross.
2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Truth Number Five
You Must Place Your Faith and Trust in Jesus Christ
Because Jesus was sinless, death could not hold Him! Acts 2:24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was NOT POSSIBLE that he should be holden of it. He rose three days after the cross so that we may now have life in Him! This salvation is a gift from God, and Like any gift, the gift of this payment must be received. As we have already stated, this can only be received by faith. This is different than just believing that Jesus existed. Today, will you choose to personally trust in Christ? Right now, no matter where you are, you can put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, believing He alone can save you. Romans 5:1 - Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
You may express your faith in Jesus to God the Father by praying, "Lord, I know that I am a sinner and that I cannot obtain salvation by my works. I now come to you totally for salvation. I believe you died and rose again for my sins and I now place my faith TOTALLY IN YOU, Amen."
IF You have placed your faith in Christ you can rest assured that You are now saved for ETERNITY. Please contact our Pastor at 770-608-3707 to discuss the next step in your walk with Jesus Christ!
